The following year, Danny would stay in the British Superbike Championship and then compete in the Supersport class to end the season.
A decision was made to step back into the highly competitive National Superstock 1000 Class, with aims on becoming British Champion, which he was able to do! After his superb winning streak in the 2014 season, an offer came up for him to compete back in the British Superbike Championship for the BeWiser team. He also managed to have a wildcard with the PBM team at the end of the season. Danny continued in the British Superbike class for 2016, this time switching from Kawasaki to the Moto Rapido Ducati team.

This year, Danny will return to the British Superbike Championship with the Kawasaki FS-3 team.

"Thank you to Nigel and Darren at FS-3 Racing for giving me an opportunity to be back in the Superbike class and thanks to Kawasaki UK and Team Green for adding another year to our already strong relationship, which was formed in 2010! I'm happy to be going back into the premier class on a bike I know so well and coming off a Championship win is always great. I've been in this position before so I know what I'm jumping into, but now I'm three years older and three years wiser, so that puts me in a better position. We are going to work hard throughout winter to be best prepared come round one.”
